With over 15+ years of cross-functional work experience, Abhishek Lal has joined adidas group India as the Ecommerce Director. In adidas he is currently managing the development and implementation of 360 degree Omni Channel strategy in India. He is responsible for all aspects of enabling Omni Channel commerce success by integrating online (Web/Mobile) to offline (Bricks and Mortar).
During his vast career, he has gained expertise in different areas like manufacturing, product development, retail operations, merchandising & Internet marketing.
He has worked with major brands like Unilever, Adidas, Puma & Intersport across different geographies like India, Switzerland, Germany, Middle East & Africa.
An alumni of Delhi University (Computer Science), Footwear Design & Development Institute (Footwear Technology) and Faculty of Management Studies (MBA), his in-depth understanding of industry and knowledge about the sector & products is an advantage that he adds to the ventures he works for.
Working in Technology, Retail and Sales & Marketing functions, experience in various advance technology platforms, evaluating ability for different technology/E-Commerce platforms, has resulted in successful achievement of the organizations’ business goals wherever he has worked. In his previous endeavor, he was the CEO & Co-founder of the online shoe store Bestylish.com.
