Tarandeep is the DGM Marketing of KidZania India, a global indoor theme park that inspires, educates, and empowers kids, by helping them understand and manage their world better. Tarandeep joined the organization in December 2015.
Tarandeep is an alumnus of the MMK college and has a MBA Degree in Retail Management and Marketing from The ITM Business School, Navi Mumbai where he was awarded the Dean’s Award for Top honours in Academic Excellence.
With over a decade of experience in marketing, Tarandeep has immense expertise in a wide spectrum of roles. Tarandeep started his career with EsselWorld in 2002, and was then heading marketing for Fame Cinemas in 2006 where he successfully launched 15 new multiplexes across the country. He then chartered a path in a senior role in marketing and business development for – EsselWorld, Water Kingdom and was instrumental for brand extension and launch of FEC Downtown EsselWorld, before taking over as a Deputy General Manager at KidZania India.
His role at KidZania is defining and executing Marketing strategy for short and long term period. His responsibilities include Brand & Communication management, Media management, Digital Strategy, Pricing and product management, alliances, public relations and social media, all aimed at building affinity through advertising and marketing for campaigns. He is responsible for driving family retail visitation to the parks and positioning KidZania as the preferred destination across TG families (with kids between 2 to 14 yrs) and schools.
Tarandeep also played a key role for the launch of KidZania Delhi NCR in May 2016. Tarandeep has been instrumental in forming national alliances with brands contributing to brand awareness and increased visitation. KidZania India has won 3 marketing awards - Exchange 4 Media’s INK Award and IAAPI awards for best marketing campaigns; which were developed and executed by in-house marketing team under Tarandeep’s leadership.
Tarandeep is a movie buff and loves cricket. He resides with his wife in Mumbai.
